Message from the Principal

Welcome to Brook Haven School – a place of authentic exploration, learning and achievement. I am honored to welcome all of our students, staff and families into the 2023-2024 school year - one that is sure to be full of growth, accomplishments, challenges and fun for all of us at BHS.

As a fourth-generation Sebastopol resident and a graduate of Brook Haven myself, I am proud to be a part of the next chapter as our amazing staff and student body strives to reach new heights at Brook Haven! This year, our staff will continue the work needed to create and foster a learning environment that not only supports all of our students, but also shines throughout our community.

By partnering our new staff with our veteran teachers, we have developed additional opportunities for our students. We are proud that we have enhanced our program to include wider enrichment opportunities that include band, choir, garden, health, technology, coding, video production and more. New this year is our state of the art video production lab, as well as a new library and learning commons room that offers the opportunity for a collaborative and flexible workspace for our students.

Brook Haven School is a wonderful place to be and I look forward to working with our parents, families and community to provide an excellent middle school experience for all of our students. I encourage you to stop by, take a tour and see what makes Brook Haven such an amazing place to be.
