This is my thirty-third year in the Sebastopol Union School District. Prior to my career here, I taught art in Indonesia, Special Day Class in Glenn County, RSP in Placentia, and RSP in Long Beach before getting married and moving to Sebastopol. I have been a resource specialist in SUSD primarily in grades 6-8; however, this year I have students in grades 5-8 and when I first began teaching in Sebastopol, I taught students in grades K-8 at all three campuses: Park Side, Pine Crest and Brook Haven.
My husband is Ruxton. We have two children, Taylor and Noëlle, who attended Park Side, Pine Crest and Brook Haven. They graduated from Analy and moved on to college. Taylor is now married with a wonderful wife, Desiree, and a beautiful baby girl. Lucky for me they live in Sonoma County. Noëlle is in a six year relationship with Ryan and living in San Jose.
Education: I attended Long Beach City College, Long Beach State University and Chico State University. I have a BA in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject Credential, Learning Handicapped Credential, Resource Specialist Certificate and a Supplemental Credential in English.
I am an avid quilter. I love to travel, read, work in the garden and play with my granddaughter. Life is great!
