What is the Site Council?
The School Site Council is an elected group of parents, teachers,
students and staff working together to improve our school site's
educational programs.
School Site Councils were developed in response to California law which
required them to allocate and monitor the school improvement grant, as
well as to develop and oversee the school plan.
Behind the creation of the School Site Council is the belief that
those involved with schools and students on a day-to-day basis can make
some of the best decisions. To find out more about the activities
of your School Site Council, attend a meeting or talk to the school
principal.
