Student Council Expectations

Brook Haven students proudly participate in the middle school and high school tradition of student government.  Each fall four officers are elected by general students and representatives are elected from each first period class.  This group of student leaders meets regularly with the staff advisors to review student issues.  As a group and with student leadership, Student Council plans and carries out a number of activities.  You will find student council involved in community building projects, local goodwill events, and both fun-raisers and fundraisers.

All Student Council officers must:

All officers must be present at lunchtime student council meetings on all non-shortened Wednesdays. Missing three meetings (without first checking in with student council advisor) will result in the student being removed from office and a new officer will be selected by student council members and staff advisor.
