About Ms. Hall

HI! My name is Melissa Hall. I am a Sonoma County native. I grew up amongst the redwoods and the river. I graduated from Sonoma State with a BA and a multiple subject teaching credential. I earned a science credential through course work in biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics. I continue appreciating and learning about all of the sciences while traveling with my family. We love to spend time on the road, on a trail, near a lake, a river, or a beach. You will also find me spending many afternoons and weekends on the sidelines of whatever sports my kids are playing.

I am proud to say that I have taught in the Sebastopol Union School District for 19 years. I have taught 2nd-8th grades from Park Side to Pine Crest to Brook Haven. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade science. In our science program we focus on chemistry, life science, and physics phenomena along with engineering and sustainability. I look forward to watching students explore science through labs and other hands-on activities.
