Important Info for the 2020-2021 School Year

Bell Schedules: You may find our Distance Learning bell schedules here. Please refer to teachers’ websites and/or Google Classrooms for more detailed schedules.
Attendance: Teachers are taking attendance every day. Students are expected to attend live zoom meetings and complete classwork to earn attendance credit. You may monitor your student’s attendance on the Aeries portal @ Aeries Portal. Please call the office if you have questions or need assistance with getting your student connected. If your student is absent for illness or other reasons, please contact the school office.

Grades: In contrast to the past spring semester, teachers will assign marks for mastery of standards, work completion, and participation. Please refer to your student’s teacher’s syllabus or Google Classroom for specific information. Please remember that work submission on Google does not necessarily indicate assignment completion. Teachers will assess/grade assignments as soon as possible. They appreciate your patience and understanding.
To monitor work completion and academic progress:
- Sign-up for Google Guardian (Google Classroom Parent Reports)
- Check Aeries (Brook Haven only)
- Contact your student’s teacher

School Lunches: Food services will continue operating. Free/Reduced Lunch program forms are available on the district website @ Forms – Parents – Sebastopol Union School District. As of October 22nd, there are NEW pickup sites and times available. Click here to view.
Technology Resources: All students should have received a Chromebook and access to a district assigned Google account. Please notify the school office if your student is having technological and/or connectivity difficulties.
Digital citizenship and care for district property is critical. Students and parents should have read, dated, and signed the Acceptable Use Agreement form on Aeries. We encourage you to download a copy of this form to review with your student. This copy does not need to be signed or returned. Technology Agreement
Sports & Extra Curricular Activities: Everything is currently on hold at this point. Our league and district will reevaluate before the end of 2020.
